About the Game

Each plunger has a durable string attached. Fire it at a door or object you want to interact with, and once the plunger sticks, use the Poltergust G-00 to suck up the string, pulling the plunger — and the object or door — back toward you.

For example, in the basement, you can use the plungers on barrels to reveal a rat’s nest, but also uncover a key hidden behind them. What this key unlocks is for you to discover as you continue your journey through the hotel.

Other notable areas to explore include the lobby, greenhouse, theatre, and even a film studio. Each location, as well as seemingly mundane hallways and rooms, is packed with secrets, hidden items, and treasures to find.

Luigi’s Slick New Moves

Luigi now boasts a set of updated abilities, making the gameplay even more enjoyable:

• Guigi: A rubbery, gelatin-like version of Luigi who can safely traverse spikes and slip through tight bars and narrow gaps. However, he’s not great around water, so be sure to switch back to regular Luigi when things get wet.

• Slam: This move allows Luigi to slam enemies into the ground, keeping them under control as his Poltergust G-00 safely sucks them up.

• Blast: Use the vacuum in reverse, like a leaf blower, to push back crowds of enemies, giving you the space and time you need to plan your next move.
